Avinash Sable, a renowned Indian track and field athlete, has won a gold medal in the men’s 3000m steeplechase at the 2023 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.
Sable has beaten his own record of completing his 3000m race in 8:19.50 (in 2022 Common Wealth Games) by making a new World record of finishing the race in 8:11.20 in these Asian Games.

Tajinderpal Singh Toor, an Indian track and field athlete, has won a gold medal in the men’s shot put event at the 2023 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. .
Toor set a new Asian Games record by giving his best shot in the 6th attempt and securing a marvelous winning throw of 20.36 meters .
